Welcome to the New York Public Radio Archives! We're preserving and making accessible 101+ years of history from WNYC, WQXR, Gothamist, and more.

This site is an interim solution designed first and foremost to serve internal users and replace functionality of our soon to be sunset digital asset management system, Cortex. It does not yet hold the full collection that was stored in Cortex, but it should have the latest month+ of materials from shows and teams that relied on Cortex most. We're testing this out to hopefully use as our new long-term solution, so if you'd like to share feedback or get involved in testing, feel free to reach out to Dylan at dflesch@nypublicradio.org
